Very nice quick eats for lunch. Good was good quality. Good flavours. Price is very very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. Photo of the finished bowls because it was so good.
Ordered xiaolongbao and kaiyang noodle. Food taste great and affordable meals. They open early so you can have Chinese breakfast meals fast and ready.
Very delicious Chinese noodle dishes! Quite different to your typical Chinese restaurant. The noodles are really well made and cooked, both dry and in soup. We got the kaiyang and the meejie noodles and both were very tasty. The dumplings were delicious too, the dumpling skins were not too thick or thin, very nice. We also got the sweet tofu fa which was one of the best ones we’ve had in Melbourne. We’re definitely coming back.
First time to this shop and the menu looks quite simple. Price is very reasonable given the portion is quite big.Took away beef noodles, spring onion noodles, kai yang noodles and scallion pancake.Everything was very good except the beef was a bit too fatty to my liking. And excellent service from the staff.
Cute spot for lunch. I've been here twice now with a gf that lives locally. Food is always good, fresh and consistent. Very authentic as I'm a native so expectations are harder to meet! GuoTie (pan fried dumplings), pan fried buns and xiaolongbao (steamed soup buns) are notable dishes to share as a starter. Highly recommend their soy sauce noodles and the duck blood Vercimilli noodle soup as mains. Also very reasonably priced for current climates.
What a hidden gem!!How often can you find a bowl of dry noodles for 6-7?? Don't be fooled by the price as it was so tasty.Their steamed dumplings and potstickers were also delicious. It can get packed, so plan ahead during peak lunch times.
One of the most delicious meals ever. You know, I’ve had my share of disappointment in the city with cheap eats. Yes the prices would not pinch you but the taste of the food would be so blehhhh..And so I was crossing my fingers as I entered this place. And let me tell you guys…..you’re not going to bedisappointed. The beef noddles were to die for..And of course their complementary chilli oil.Man….this place is a sure visit for meI’ll be going back soon. And the price was so affordable.Thank you team for your wonderful service.
I can not recommend this place enough. Low key and authentic shanghai style breakfast. Fresh and flavorful. The only thing I hope they would also consider selling is steam pork bun. Other than that, it is a great breakfast place and is easy to access.
